Penn’s GRASP lab has an impressive roster of robots. The Mack
Institute for Innovation Management at the Wharton School connects
world-class researchers and business leaders to advance knowledge about
emerging markets and user-driven change.
Now, the GRASP lab and Mack Institute have joined forces with innovative crowdsourcing platform Marblar.com
and intellectual property commercialization company IPGroup to bring
these robots out of the lab and into the marketplace through a contest
called the Y-Prize Competition.
During the Fall semester, the international research stage of the
competition is open to the public and will take place on Marblar.com. In
the Spring semester, the competition’s development stage will see the
contest return to Penn.
