The Army Educational Outreach Program (AEOP) apprenticeship is a 7-week internship for rising seniors in high school to conduct research in a lab with graduate mentors and faculty PIs. The apprentices are all exceptional with strong GPAs and an impressive commitment to exploring STEM subjects, even during their summer vacations. Apprentices will work in a collaborative engineering research environment in the field of robotics. Many of this year’s apprentices will work at the GRASP Lab, and projects will focus on advancing the field of robotics in a manner that aligns with their mentors’ work.
This year’s program began on Tuesday, June 21st, and will conclude on Friday, August 5th with a farewell reception in Raisler Lounge (more details to be provided in the coming weeks).
