Shu Yang, Joseph Bordogna Professor in the Departments of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) and Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, has been named a 2022 American Chemical Society (ACS) Fellow. Yang, one of 45 ACS members to be named to this year’s class of fellows, also serves as the Chair of MSE .
The ACS Fellows Program began in 2009 as a way to recognize members’ outstanding achievements in and contributions to science and the profession. In addition to exceptional contributions in the field, eligible members must have provided excellent volunteer service to the ACS community. The Fellows Program is one component of the broader ACS Awards Program.
