The Mayor’s STEM Ambassadors (MSA) initiative is designed to recognize student excellence and achievement in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), as well as encourage and equip students to pursue post-secondary pursuits. The initiative seeks to create a robust ecosystem of STEM ambassadors who are dedicated to developing the next generation of STEM students.
This year’s MSA recognition ceremony was held in May and featured GRASP’s Vijay Kumar as the keynote speaker for the ceremony. Dr. Kumar recognized and congratulated the selected Ambassadors, all Philadelphia high school juniors, for their passion, dedication, and contribution to STEM in Philadelphia.
