Alex attends the University of Pennsylvania in the Robotics Master’s Program. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a concentration in Mechatronics. He is interested in controls, navigation, and planning, particularly for autonomous mobile robots that have to learn about their surroundings for themselves. He loves Legos, MATLAB, xkcd, explosions, and chocolate peanut butter ice cream.
