Ashish is a second year master’s student in the Robotics Master of Science program. His background is in mechanical engineering, with specialization in mechatronics. Throughout his graduate work to-date he has maintained a well-rounded course of study, including coursework in control systems, robot kinematics and dynamics theory, mechatronic systems design, computational photography and computer vision, UAV design, and probability & statistics. Currently, Ashish is pursuing a thesis research project that deals with the design of a VTOL aerial vehicle employing a novel underactuated rotor technology.
