Georgakis Georgios

Georgios was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Computer and Information Science working with Kostas Daniilidis. His interests lie at the intersection of computer vision and robotics and has worked on multiple problems such as object detection, keypoint and descriptor learning, and 3D pose estimation. He was working on visual-based navigation and human mesh recovery.
Georgios received his Diploma of Engineering from the Technical University of Crete in Greece and completed his Ph.D in the Department of Computer Science at George Mason University advised by Jana Kosecka.
