Jessica is pursuing her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, advised by Dr. Mark Yim and Dr. James Pikul. She is interested in developing soft sensing technologies and autonomous soft robots. Jessica graduated with her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Physical Computing from Carnegie Mellon University in May 2020, where she conducted research in the Soft Machines Lab led by Dr. Carmel Majidi.
