I learned my Computer Graphics from Andy van Dam and my Computer Vision from Ruzena Bajcsy. I’ve bounced back and forth between the two for 40+ years. After faculty jobs at Rochester, MIT, UW Seattle, and UAB, I’m now “Emeritus” – and working harder than ever. Current work continues a lengthy collaboration with my wife, Christine Curcio, on the anatomy of human retina, and (recently) diseases such as Age Related Macular Degeneration.
