Steven’s research interests are in deep learning applications in robot perception, action, and communication. He is specifically interested in robots for unstructured, natural environments such as farms and forests. Steven is also the CEO and co-founder of Treeswift, a venture-backed startup he founded with Kumar Lab alumni.
